Originally founded in 1967 as a partnership trading under the name “Radiator Shaping Services”, the business specialised in shaping central heating radiators to fit special application such as bay windows.
This progressed into sheet metal and fabrication and the high standard of craftmanship lead to a focus on the Automotive industry. Where some major
customers at that time were Rolls Royce and Jensen Motors.
The Company became limited in 1976 and changed its name to “Radshape Sheet Metal Ltd”.
Due to the high quality of workmanship the relationship with the Automotive industry continued to grow and the business started to attract work from the marine and many other specialist industries.
In January 1997 the Company, due to continued business expansion, the recent introduction of laser cutting, the takeover of a tool-making facility and a small fabrication company, initiated a move to a 28,000 square-foot factory in the Aston area of Birmingham. This move provided excellent office and manufacturing facilities all under one roof furthering the Company’s objective of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
